Volume Three Sold out
The Wood Volume
£10.00
This volume saw us take a new turn in our editorial direction from previous volumes; we began with a thematic stimulus, a single word, wood, to initiate an investigation into a selection of related narratives – stories of our affinity to the natural world, wood products and the great outdoors.
This led us to find a great breadth of fascinating and passionate people working in a diverse range of practices and places – from a driftwood kayak builder, a traditional Korean papermaker, wilderness-foraging perfumers, charcoal makers, to bamboo bicycle builders. This volume is a celebration of wood, its beauty and versatility as a material, the ways we've learnt to craft it, and its presence and permanence in our lives.
